Today’s final “company visit” was Bollywood. We actually got to see some sets and step foot onto a live recording of a soap opera. The typical hospital scene is where you’ll find high emotions, as your loved one is about to die or has had some tragic accident (or was it an accident? :o). Stars are no different in India than they are in America, with the exception that they are worshiped rather than simply adored. They still smoke, have a good smile for the public, and hang out at clubs.
Finally, we had a farewell dinner with everyone, while we went out separate ways. Saying goodbye was tearful in some cases and easier in others. I will miss my peers.. I won’t see them in a while, it seems. I am not a 1 year student… I am a 3 year student. So, what do I do? I’ll have to do this again, it seems, every year. I hope I can meet my friends in the future, when I do have time. I’ll definitely keep in touch. If anyone is reading this from the MBA class, I will really miss seeing you in class, and I hope to see you in the future. Now, off to China… again..
